Hi I connected 2 ponds together. My original pond sits higher then my new pond .so it has a small waterfall effect where it is connected. Here's my problem. There seems to be water going under the liner so i am losing water. I asked some one in a pond shop if liner tape would work to seal the 2 together. He said it won't work. Do you have any ideas? thanks michael

Hi, Michael,

You'll need to drain the upper pond and dry off the liner completely. You'll need a good-sized chunk of pond liner and a can of liner adhesive compound. Whitewater Filters (www.whitewaterfilters.com) should be able to get you both.

You'll need to have at least 18 inches of overlap at both edges, and at least a foot on either side out of the water, all joined by the compound without air bubbles and firmly rolled down with a wallpaper roller, then let cure at temps at or around 70 F. for 24 hours. Ask Mike White (mikew@whitewaterfilters.com) for more advice.
