Hi,
We recently brought some water plants at the Darien, Illinos show. All told six plants, they have multiplied by the day it seems. Now the pond is 80-90% covered. Is this a good thing or should we cut back a bit? Anticipate any response, thank you.

Water hyacinth, right? This is why they are outlawed in Florida. Yank out what you don't need for shade and mulch 'em! Better still, both Brookfield Zoo and the Shedd Aquarium are happy to have your extras.
