- Each exhibitor is to be a member
of a recognized koi, pond, goldfish, or water garden society or club, unless said
exhibitor has never shown before. This constitutes a novice.

There is no limit to the number of entries per exhibitor, but all entries must
be owned by the exhibitor, and the exhibitor must be present at the show.
- Tank reservations
must be received by August 9, 2007. It is not necessary to provide detailed information
about individual fish with reservations.

Fees for this show will be assessed per fish at $3.00 each. Please note change
from previous years.

Please be kind to your fish and do not overstock the tanks. When reserving tanks,
be considerate of the amount you will need for your fish. For example, two tanks
is not enough tanks for nine fish.

It is of paramount importance that all exhibitors fast their fish at least five
days prior to the show in order to preserve water quality.
- Check-in
will be from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, August 24. There will be NO Saturday
morning check-in unless approved by the Show Chairperson in advance.
- Fish are not to
be placed in the tanks by exhibitors until instructed to do so by the show committee.
- Fish must remain
on display until the show is deemed closed on Sunday August 27 at 1:00 PM unless
some other arrangement is approved by the Chairman in advance.
- Exhibitor
is expected to attend the awards banquet so to collect their awards, especially
major awards (i.e. Grand Champion, Most Unique, etc.).
- Goldfish
will be judged according to two sizes- Mature (over three inches) and Young (less
than three inches). The size will be determined by measuring the fish from the
tip of the nose to the base of tail. This will constitute total body length.
- At check-in,
each fish will be inspected for any health issues and will be placed into the
proper size and category.
- If
a fish is found to be unhealthy, it will be requested that the fish be removed
in a timely fashion.
- Judging
will begin no later than 10:00 am on Saturday August 25.
- Please
be assured that MPKS and the show committee will take all possible precautions
to assure the safety of fish entered in the show, but understand that the owner
shall assume all risk and responsibilities of said fish.
- Fish
are exhibitor fish and as such, should not be advertised for sale at any time
in any fashion.
- Any
contingencies not mentioned in the above rules are subject to the discretion of
the Chairman.
- The
decisions of the Judge, Chairman, Show Committee, and Club President are final.
