1. Each exhibitor is to be a member of a recognized koi, pond, goldfish, or water garden society or club, unless said exhibitor has never shown before. This constitutes a novice.

2. There is no limit to the number of entries per exhibitor, but all entries must be owned by the exhibitor, and the exhibitor must be present at the show.

33. Tank reservations must be received by August 12, 2006. You do not have to provide detailed fish information when you reserve your tank.

4. Tanks will cost $3.00 when reserved by August 12, 2006 and $5.00 thereafter. If you fail to reserve tanks prior to the deadline, the Chairman does not guarantee that there will be any left and he will not assume responsibility thereof.

5. It is of paramount importance that all exhibitors fast their fish at least five days prior to the show in order to preserve water quality.

6. Check-in will be from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, August 25. There will be NO Saturday morning check-in unless approved by the Show Chairperson in advance.

7. Fish are not to be placed in the tanks by exhibitors until instructed to do so by the show committee.

8. Fish must remain on display until the show is deemed closed on Sunday August 27 at 1:00 PM unless some other arrangement is approved by the Chairman in advance.

10. Goldfish will be judged according to two sizes- Mature (over three inches) and Young (less than three inches). The size will be determined by measuring the fish from the tip of the nose to the base of tail. This will constitute total body length.

11. At check-in, each fish will be inspected for any health issues and will be placed into the proper size and category.

12. If a fish is found to be unhealthy, it will be requested that the fish be removed in a timely fashion.

13. Judging will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 26 2006.

14. Please be assured that MPKS will take all possible precautions to assure the safety of fish entered in the show, but understand that the owner shall assume all risk and responsibilities of said fish.

15. Fish are exhibitor fish and as such, should not be advertised for sale at any time in any fashion.

16. Any contingencies not mentioned in the above rules are subject to the discretion of the Chairman.
