The
MPKS Koi and Goldfish Auction -- June 18, 2006
This year we were very lucky
in our weather. A thick overcast and constant breeze kept fish and
people comfortable. Rain was minimal, just a little here and there.
The heron favored us with his customary flyby during setup. Please
click on the small pictures to see them full-sized.
This year Ray Helms found three big
marquees to protect us from the elements.
Renee Reeder_Helms planned and organized
everything beautifully.
As the fish arrive, Pete Ponzio inspects
each one carefully,
making sure none are sick or injured.
Hmmm...Okay.
The bags are marked and sorted for auction.
The shoppers begin their
own inspection.

The bidders set up chairs under the
second canopy
The auction begins.
These are all the volunteers
(except the ones who are lugging heavy items off-camera) who
made this all run so smoothly. Our greatest thanks to all
of you!
